FF: Monday Raises
EU and US startup funding rounds from last week. Five-minute read.
Europe
London-based Humanoid raised €133M ($152M) in a Series A led by Prime Movers Lab at a €1.1B post-money valuation, making it Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn two years after founding. Industrial backers Schaeffler and Bosch joined the round, which brings total funding to €236M and adds to roughly €1.6B that has flowed into European physical AI and warehouse automation startups this year.
The Exploration Company, a European rival to SpaceX, is in talks to raise at least $300M, partly from the EU's Scaleup Europe Fund, according to the Financial Times. The round would push the German startup's valuation past $2B as Europe pushes to build sovereign launch and space-cargo capacity independent of US providers.

Sila raised $300M led by Atreides Management and Sutter Hill Ventures to expand its Moses Lake, Washington plant from 2 GWh to tens of GWh of silicon-carbon anode material per year, enough for more than 100,000 EVs. The material stores up to 40% more energy than graphite and offers automakers like Mercedes an alternative to Chinese suppliers, who control roughly three-quarters of the graphite anode supply chain.
Wonder raised $650M at a $9B pre-money valuation, and founder Marc Lore says the food-delivery platform will go public in early 2027 rather than sell as he did with Quidsi and Jet.com. The round funds an end-to-end stack that now spans 140 food halls, Grubhub, Blue Apron, kitchen automation, and a Zipline drone partnership, though it came below an earlier $11B target and includes an IPO-price ratchet protecting investors.
